The Wheat Chain is a 1 mm chain in 18k gold, woven in a wheat-ear pattern that gives a fine chain extra strength and a subtle textured shine. It is one of the best fine chains for carrying a pendant every day.
It is made in 18k gold, in lengths of 16, 18, 20, 22 or 24 inches. Choose 16 inches for a pendant at the base of the neck, 18 for just below the collarbone, or longer lengths for layering. The woven links make it more robust than a fine cable chain of the same width, and it lies neatly without twisting. It is a smart choice for initial pendants, crosses and small charms, and a thoughtful gift for any age. Each wheat chain is finished and checked in our workshop in Juffair, Manama, and shipped across the GCC and worldwide. It weighs about 3.5 g at 16 inches, rising to about 6.2 g at 24 inches.
