About this piece
The Anchor Chain is a chain in 18k gold made of flat oval links with a small bar across the middle of each one, the same shape used for ships’ anchor chains. The faceted links catch the light, and the centre bar makes them stronger.
It comes in 18k gold, in a 16 or 18 inch length and a width of 1, 2 or 3 mm. The 1 mm is fine enough to carry a small pendant, while 3 mm stands on its own as a confident everyday chain. Anchor chains are hard-wearing and lie flat on the neck, which makes them a good choice for daily wear by men and women alike. It is a classic gift for birthdays and graduations, and an easy first gold chain. Each anchor chain is finished and checked in our workshop in Juffair, Manama, and shipped across Bahrain and worldwide. It weighs from about 1.2 g (16 inches, 1 mm) to about 3.4 g (18 inches, 3 mm), and fastens with a spring ring clasp.
