About this piece
The Box Chain is a fine chain necklace in 18k gold, made of small square links joined edge to edge to form a smooth, four-sided chain. Its flat sides reflect light cleanly, so even a fine box chain looks bright and refined.
It is made in 18k gold, in yellow or white, with a 1 mm width and a length of 16, 18 or 20 inches. Box chains are strong for their size and do not tangle easily, which makes them one of the best chains for carrying a pendant every day. The 16 inch length sits at the base of the neck; 20 inches falls lower on the chest. It suits men and women and is a dependable gift for any age. Each box chain is finished and checked in our Juffair, Manama workshop, and we can supply a matching pendant if you would like a set. It weighs about 1 g to 1.4 g depending on the length, and the clasp ends are stamped 750, the hallmark for 18k gold.
